Preston’s College challenged us with launching the new £13m iSTEM Centre (innovation & Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) and its skills-based curriculum.
Our objectives were to drive student applications for the inaugural intake, encourage employer partner sign ups and sponsorship deals and increase awareness of the College’s vocational offering with Lancashire businesses.
We targeted a range of audiences – students, parents, employers, employer partners and the college’s network of employees and alumni – with creative and compelling PR and social content. Exposure was further amplified by securing celebrity guest speaker, Maggie Philbin (Tomorrow’s World).
The campaign, which reached an audience of more than 5.5m across online and offline outlets, resulted in a 30% increase in student applications, high profile employer sign ups and growth in website visitor numbers. In addition, 500 social media interactions were achieved during the official opening event, attended by 100 VIP guests.
