Lancashire’s leading marketing communications agency, The Write Angle, has overhauled its brand and appointed a new director to grow its full-service integrated offering.
The Chorley-based agency was founded in 2002 and has built a solid reputation for delivering award-winning PR and marketing campaigns for some of the region’s biggest businesses.
Now The Write Angle has set its sights on exporting the agency’s unique mix of personality and performance outside the Red Rose County.
Angela Smith, managing director at The Write Angle, commented: “When I set up the business over a decade ago, I had a clear vision for where I wanted us to be at this point and we’ve far exceeded that, with clients now relying on us for much more than PR.
“Our aim is to match these client needs with the demands of a constantly shifting marketing and communications landscape, both here in the North West and further afield, and we’re confident that this is simply the start of a new chapter in our continuing success story.”
New director, Tracy Archer, has come on board to oversee the rollout of The Write Angle’s new brand both externally and behind the scenes, with a particular focus on growing the agency’s digital offering.
With more than 20 years’ experience, Tracy honed her brand, digital and direct marketing skills during stints at RAPP, twentysix, BJL and later owning her own agency, Chocolate Communications. Her client experience includes MyTravel, NHS Give Blood, Hitachi Finance and Swinton Insurance, with Tracy helping to put the latter back on TV after seven years.
She said: “The fundamental marketing discipline of targeting the right people at the right time in the right place still applies, but PR is now only one among a wide range of channels with which to do that. Our fresh new look reflects this shift towards becoming more of an integrated agency that offers the complete mix of brand, content, PR and social rather than just traditional PR.
“The Write Angle has always been skilled at using a combination of insight, experience and creativity to find the right angle in any story, but now we help clients to package that brand story by creating relevant and results-focused content and sharing it with consumers using the most impactful channels and through the most appropriate medium.
“Clients are also increasingly looking for collaboration between creative and digital agencies outside the corporate confines of London and Manchester, where small but effective teams are not only delivering astonishing results but are fun to work with too.”
